Refund and Exchange Policy

This Refund and Exchange Policy (the “Policy”) is established by NP Inc. (the “Company”) to protect customer rights and facilitate the fair and efficient resolution of disputes in connection with the purchase of MUAH products (the “Products”) provided by the Company. The Company administers this Policy in accordance with applicable laws and consumer protection principles.

Article 1 (Scope of Application)

This policy applies to all products provided by the Company, including the following:

  1. Steel meditation capsule spaces (manufactured by the Company)
  2. XR devices, tablets, external indicators, IoT devices, and related accessories
  3. Meditation content software (including subscription services)

For electronic products manufactured by third parties (including XR devices, tablets, and external indicators), the manufacturer’s warranty and refund policies shall apply in conjunction with this policy.
 

Article 2 (Refund and Exchange Request Period)

If you wish to request a refund or exchange, you must submit your request to the Company in writing or by phone within the following periods:

※ If no objection is raised within 30 days, the product shall be deemed to have been properly accepted.
 

Article 3 (Cases Eligible for Refund or Exchange)

Refunds or exchanges may be granted under any of the following circumstances:

  1. The supply of the Product is delayed by more than 7 days beyond the delivery date agreed upon in the contract.
  2. The Product differs from the description in advertisements or from the terms agreed upon at the time of contract execution (provided that the request is made within 7 days of receipt).
  3. The Product contains defects or malfunctions attributable to the Company.
  4. The customer requests a refund or exchange due to a simple change of mind within 30 days of receipt, provided that the Product remains unused and unopened

Article 4 (Restrictions on Refunds and Exchanges)

Refunds or exchanges may be restricted in the following cases:

  1. Where the value of the Product has been significantly diminished due to use or consumption by the customer.
  2. Where the Product has been lost or damaged due to reasons attributable to the customer.
  3. Where the Product is a customized product for which resale is substantially difficult.
  4. Where the provision of digital content (including meditation content subscriptions) has already commenced.
  5. Where more than 30 days have elapsed since receipt of the Product, except in cases attributable to the Company.

Article 5 (Refund Fees)

In processing refunds or exchanges, the following fees may apply to cover restocking, logistics, and inspection costs:

Article 6 (Refund Procedures and Processing Period)

Refunds shall be processed in accordance with the following procedures:

  1. Refund Request: The customer shall notify the Company in writing of the intent to request a refund. (Notification shall be sent to: muacs@npinc.co.kr)
  2. Verification of Grounds: The Company shall review the reason for the refund request and inspect the condition of the Product, and thereafter inform the customer whether the refund request is approved.
  3. Product Collection: If the refund request is approved, the Company shall coordinate with the customer to retrieve the Product.
  4. Refund Processing: Upon confirmation of Product retrieval, the Company shall process the refund within seven (7) business days in accordance with the applicable refund fee rate.

Refund Methods by Payment Type

  1. Credit Card: Cancellation of the card authorization or refund processing through the card issuer (processing time may vary depending on the card issuer’s policies)
  2. Bank Transfer: Direct refund to the bank account designated by the customer
  3. Cash Payment: Direct refund to the customer’s designated bank account

Article 7 (Cancellation and Refund)

The following standards shall apply in the event a cancellation request is made after execution of the contract:

  1. Before production, procurement, or shipment of the Product has commenced: cancellation may be made without penalty.
  2. After production or procurement has commenced: cancellation fees may be charged within a reasonable range corresponding to actual costs and damages incurred.
  3. In the case of customized Products: all costs incurred after commencement of production shall be charged upon cancellation.

Provided, however, that where applicable laws regarding consumer protection grant the customer a statutory right of withdrawal, such laws shall prevail.

 

Article 8 (Warranty Period and After-Sales Service)

Customers may elect repair or after-sales service (“A/S”) in lieu of a refund or exchange.

  1. MUAH proprietary products (including steel meditation spaces): up to three (3) years from the date of installation completion, including parts and labor
  2. Third-party manufactured products (including XR devices and tablets): subject to the warranty policies of the relevant manufacturer
  3. A/S Requests: Requests may be submitted through the Company’s customer service center at 02-555-9287

※ If monthly installment payments remain unpaid for more than three (3) months, the service may be suspended

Article 10 (Relationship with Applicable Laws)

Matters not expressly provided for in this Policy shall be governed by applicable laws and regulations, including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and the Framework Act on Consumers of the Republic of Korea. In the event any provision of this Policy conflicts with applicable laws, such laws shall prevail.
