Refund, Exchange, and Contract Termination Policy

This Refund, Exchange, and Contract Termination Policy has been established to protect customer rights and interests and to facilitate the smooth resolution of disputes in connection with the purchase of MUAH (the “Product”) provided by NP Inc. (the “Company”). The Company operates this Policy in accordance with applicable laws and consumer protection principles.

Article 1 (Scope of Application)

This Policy applies to all products provided by the Company, and the Product includes the following items:

  1. Steel meditation housing (manufactured by the Company)
  2. XR devices, tablets, external indicators, IoT devices, and related accessories (manufactured by third parties)
  3. Meditation content software (including subscription services)

* For electronic products manufactured by third parties (including XR devices, tablets, and external indicators), the warranty and refund policies of the relevant manufacturer shall apply together with this Policy.

Article 2 (Refund and Exchange Request Period)

Customers who wish to request a refund or exchange must submit a request to the Company in writing or by telephone within the periods specified below.

* If no objection is raised within 30 days after receipt of the Product, the Product shall be deemed to have been duly accepted.

Article 3 (Cases Where Refunds or Exchanges Are Available)

Refunds or exchanges are available in any of the following cases:

  1. Where supply of the Product is delayed by 14 days or more from the supply date agreed upon at the time of contract execution
  2. Where the Product differs from the displayed or advertised information, or is supplied in a manner different from the terms agreed upon at the time of contract execution (within 30 days from the date of receipt of the Product)
  3. Where there is a defect or fault in the Product attributable to the Company
  4. Where the request is due to a simple change of mind (within 7 days after receipt; provided that the subscription service has not been used)

Article 4 (Cases Where Refunds or Exchanges May Be Restricted)

Refunds or exchanges may be restricted in any of the following cases:

  1. Where the value of the Product has significantly decreased due to the customer’s use or consumption
  2. Where the Product has been lost or damaged due to reasons attributable to the customer
  3. Where the Product is custom-made or customized, making resale significantly difficult
  4. Where provision of digital content (premium service subscription) has already commenced
  5. Where 30 days have elapsed after receipt of the Product (excluding cases attributable to the Company)

Article 5 (Contract Cancellation)

If a cancellation is requested after execution of the contract, the following standards shall apply:

  1. Before production, ordering, or delivery of the Product has commenced: cancellation is available without penalty.
  2. After production or ordering of the Product has commenced: cancellation fees may be charged within a reasonable scope for actual costs and losses incurred.
  3. For custom-made products: if cancellation is requested after production has commenced, the full amount of costs incurred may be charged.

However, where the right of withdrawal under consumer protection laws applies, the relevant laws shall prevail.

Article 6 (Penalty for Contract Termination)

If the contract is terminated during the use period, a penalty shall be imposed as follows:

* Costs incurred for removal and return of the Product will be charged separately.

Article 7 (Refund Procedure and Processing Period)

Refunds shall be processed in accordance with the following procedure:

  1. Refund request: The customer shall notify the Company in writing of their intention to request a refund. (Notify the Company at muacs@npinc.co.kr)
  2. Verification of reason: The Company shall verify the reason for the refund and the condition of the Product, and notify the customer whether the refund is available.
  3. Product collection: If the refund is confirmed, the Company shall coordinate a schedule with the customer and collect the Product.
  4. Refund processing: Within seven (7) business days after confirming collection of the Product, the Company shall refund the amount payable to the customer after deducting any customer-borne penalty calculated in accordance with the rates set forth in Articles 5 and 6.

▶ Refund Method by Payment Method

  • Bank transfer: Refund to the automatic debit account
  • Cash payment: Direct refund to the account designated by the customer

Article 8 (Warranty Period and A/S)

Customers may choose repair or A/S instead of a refund or exchange. The warranty periods are as follows:

  1. MUAH in-house manufactured item (steel meditation housing): up to three (3) years from the completion date of installation (including parts and labor)
  2. Third-party manufactured items (XR devices, tablets, wall pads, etc.): subject to the warranty policy of the relevant manufacturer
  3. How to request A/S: Submit a request through the Company’s email customer center (muacs@npinc.co.kr) or the administrator page (MUAH Management - Maintenance - Inspection Request).

* If monthly installment payments remain unpaid for two (2) months or more, service may be suspended.

Article 10 (Relationship with Applicable Laws)

Matters not specified in this Policy shall be governed by applicable laws, including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc. and the Framework Act on Consumers. If any provision of this Policy conflicts with applicable laws, such applicable laws shall prevail.
