NP Inc, a content creative company, has secured a patent for its AI-powered emotion inference and personalized meditation recommendation technology, formally establishing intellectual property rights over the core engine behind its XR meditation solution MUA and spatial AI mind-care solution MUAH Home.
The patented technology analyzes a user's emotional state from biometric signals and recommends meditation content accordingly. Where conventional services interpret physiological indicators such as heart rate against fixed universal baselines, NP's system learns each individual's unique biometric patterns and response tendencies, enabling more precise and personalized emotion analysis.

At the heart of the patent is MIND C-AI, NP's proprietary AI engine. The system aggregates multiple biometric inputs — including heart rate (HR), heart rate variability (HRV), and activity levels — to infer a user's current emotional state. Emotion is mapped across two axes, arousal and valence, and the engine recommends the optimal meditation category and specific content based on the user's position on that spectrum. Accuracy improves continuously as usage data accumulates.

NP has integrated this technology into both MUA and MUAH Home. MUAH Home in particular combines a contactless, camera-based biometric measurement system with XR immersive content in a compact booth format, and is actively expanding its B2B footprint across corporate and public sector clients.
This patent is significant in that it formally secures rights over MUAH Home's core technology. Building on this, NP is pursuing expansion into employee wellness, education, defense, and experiential wellness facilities. A pilot deployment is currently underway at Bucheon City Hall, with further public sector partnerships under discussion and international patent filings in progress.

The technology's extensibility is another notable strength. As a software-based system independent of any specific hardware, MIND C-AI is compatible with wearables such as smartwatches as well as a wide range of digital health platforms. Its applicability to next-generation devices including smart glasses is expected to broaden the reach of personalized wellness services even further.
"This patent is significant because it formally establishes the originality and competitive strength of the core AI technology behind MUA and MUAH Home," said CEO Baek Seung-eop. "We will continue to advance our personalized mind-care services — combining AI, XR, and biometric data — and expand their application across a wider range of industries."
NP Inc. is currently pursuing a merger with Wysiwyg Studio, after which the combined entity will operate under the new name COM2US N. The merger is expected to create meaningful synergies for MUAH Home's B2B growth and global expansion, bringing together NP's AI and XR capabilities with Wysiwyg Studio's content production expertise and international network.
