Com2uS N (CEO Cho Jae-deok), a global IP & experience company, announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital for the clinical application of and joint research on its AI/XR-based mind-care solution 'MUAH.'

The agreement is aimed at applying digital mind-care technology in real clinical settings and verifying its effectiveness. Through this partnership, Com2uS N plans to strengthen service reliability and expand its business into the medical and public sectors. Under the agreement, the two organizations will pursue cooperation across several areas, including ▲ clinical validation of MUAH and development of a psychological recovery support program for burn patients, ▲ operation of a psychological recovery program for high-risk post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) groups such as firefighters, ▲ verification of and joint research on emotion-analysis AI technology, and ▲ discovery of joint R&D projects.

Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital is Korea's only burn-specialty university hospital designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Alongside burn treatment, the hospital operates psychological recovery programs for patients and has expertise in disaster and trauma-related psychological recovery, including support for firefighters. Com2uS N plans to apply MUAH within this clinical environment to jointly develop an AI/XR mind-care model that can be used in real-world medical settings.

MUAH is an AI/XR mind-care solution in which AI analyzes a user's emotional state based on biometric data and provides personalized recovery content. It combines contactless biometric measurement technology with immersive XR content to support psychological stability and recovery, and is expanding its adoption centered on companies and public institutions. The company has also strengthened its technological competitiveness by recently registering a core patent for AI emotion inference.

Through this clinical validation, Com2uS N plans to verify MUAH's applicability and effectiveness, and to strengthen service reliability based on joint research with medical experts. Building on this, the company intends to expand its digital mind-care business beyond medical institutions into public agencies, disaster-response organizations, educational institutions, and other sectors.

Baek Seung-up, Division President at Com2uS N, said, “This agreement is an important step toward validating MUAH's applicability in clinical settings. Through collaboration with medical institutions, we will strengthen service reliability and continue developing the solution so that more people can use mind-care solutions in their everyday lives.”

Meanwhile, Com2uS N is an integrated media content company formed through the merger of WYSIWYG Studios and NP. Based on content IP and AI/XR technology, the company operates content production and digital experience businesses, and is expanding its digital mind-care business centered on MUAH.
