'Mua' Manages Firefighters' Mental Health with AI... Field Experience at 'Seoul Safety Festival'

- 'Mua Home' exhibited at Korea's largest safety culture festival... Experience firsthand with active firefighters

- “Would be useful in night duty rooms and sleeping rooms”… Positive response as a daily recovery solution

- Jointly participating with Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital to support the psychological recovery of high-risk groups for PTSD, such as firefighters

Com2uS N (CEO Jo Jae-deok), a global IP & Experience company, participated in the '2026 Seoul Safety Festival' held at Yeouido Park in Seoul from the 17th to the 19th in collaboration with Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital, and conducted an experience program for its AI and XR-based mind care solution 'MUA'.

The Seoul Safety Festival is the nation's largest safety culture festival hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Fire and Disaster Headquarters. Com2uS N, in collaboration with Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital, set up an experience booth and showcased its AI and XR mind care solution, 'MUAH.' During the event, active firefighters personally experienced MUAH to examine its potential for use in real-world work environments, such as stress management.

Mua Home is a spatial mindcare solution that analyzes the user's current state based on biosignals and provides personalized XR meditation content. It is designed to recommend content tailored to individual conditions, allowing users to focus on rest and recovery for short periods in an immersive XR environment.

Firefighters who experienced Mua in the field responded positively to the content's immersion and its potential for use in actual work environments. They noted that it offered a higher level of immersion than existing firefighting-related VR content and was well-suited for use as a recovery routine to wrap up the day. In particular, suggestions were made to install it in rest areas such as duty rooms or sleeping quarters, along with proposals to expand it into a recovery program that colleagues or family members could participate in.

This event was held as part of the business agreement signed between Com2uS N and Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital last July. The two institutions are developing a psychological recovery program for burn patients using Mua Home and are also cooperating in operating psychological recovery programs for high-risk groups for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), such as firefighters.

According to the National Fire Agency's '2025 National Survey on the Mental Health of Firefighters,' 11.2% of the 61,517 respondents reported experiencing 15 or more traumatic events in the past year. For firefighters exposed to repetitive traumatic events and high levels of tension, an environment that allows for post-work stress management and routine recovery is crucial.

"Through this event, we were able to allow firefighters to experience Mua firsthand and hear various opinions on its application in actual work environments," said a Com2uS official. "We will continue to expand opportunities for Mua's use by visiting various job roles and sites that require mental health management."

Meanwhile, Com2uS N is expanding the application areas of Mooa into medical, defense, and sports. It has established Mooa Home at the Army's 50th Infantry Division to support the mental health management of soldiers, and is also collaborating with The Head Coach to integrate Mooa into mental and recovery management programs for athletes.
